RTMS staff prepares materials for use in a binder organization system. A binder should have these core materials:
Expected
- good quality, extra large 3-ring binder
- 6 to 7 tabbed dividers to separate classes
- zipper pouch to store supplies, if binder doesn’t have built-in storage
- pens, blue or black (two at all times)
- pencils (two at all times)
- pen, red for grading
- 12+ color pencil or marker assortment. 20+ colors recommended in 8th grade.
- loose leaf paper
Suggested
- highlighters
- small scissors
- glue stick
- paper hole reinforcement stickers
- 4 - 5 large book covers (Also available at school store)
- 2 dry erase markers
- 4 function calculator
Recommended models (issued for SOL testing) include:
TI-30Xa solar, 4 function calculator
TI-83 series graphing calculator, for Algebra and geometry students only
