Jaguar Announcements Dear Parents As many of you know, Andy Bathke will finish his time at RTMS on the 31st of this month as he gets ready to move to Stafford High School as an Assistant Principal. He has spent 12 years at RTMS as both a teacher and an Assistant Principal and we wish him well as he embarks on this new venture at the high school.
Carra Hesington has just been announced as the Supervisor of Student Services. She has been with RTMS as both a special education teacher and since 2009 as an Assistant Principal. Ms. Hesington also served as assistant principal at Widewater Elementary School. We also wish her well in her new position, and we look forward to continuing to work with her in her new role in central office.
We are pleased to welcome Ms. Rosina Raines to Rodney Thompson Middle School as Assistant Principal. Rosina began her career as an Earth Science teacher at North Stafford High School. She has also been an instructor with the Regional Governor’s School. In 2005, she served as a Principal Intern at North Stafford. She has since moved to a Middle School Assistant Principal position at H. H. Poole and served as an Assistant Principal at North Stafford High School.
We are also pleased to welcome Ms. Terri Lynn Rivero as Assistant Principal at Rodney Thompson Middle School. Terri began her teaching career at H. H. Poole Middle School where she taught science and history to sixth graders and Civics and Economics to seventh graders. She later moved to Dixon-Smith where she taught seventh grade social studies. In 2009, Terri became the Assistant Principal at Falmouth Elementary School.
This will be an exciting month of transition as we begin the second semester. We hope you are able to have a chance to meet our new administrators soon and participate in the events that lie ahead as we get ready to begin a new semester. Thank you as always for your support. RTMS has a wonderful community and we are excited about what lies ahead.
